Very friendly and hospitable. Stunning decor throughout the hotel and great views of the beach in the sea front room. Claw footed bath looking out over the sea. Comfortable bed and great sized room. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Very helpful and supportive. Greated with champagne on arrival. Great stay for couples.Rooms: 5/5
DO NOT BE INTIMIDATED BY OUTSIDE LOOK : The place is full of art collection, nice stuff that will try to please you and be so helpful about everything surrounding area DARE to explore the house and ask for details, Tim is happy to talk to you about many interesting thinks, his music collection is impressive and Like any other artist made his place looking different for different public!! Great place to stay not only for summer but all seasons!! : Garden is nice for breakfast on request!! Follow my reviews for best experiences all around the world and London : xxx
Not a fan of writing reviews, i think everyones experience is different, but this hotel is just downright weird and creepy. The staff and owner had us walking through the hotel for 10 minutes looking for our room, neither of them seemed to know where the room was. weird The owner gave us the creeps, wouldn't leave us alone, followed us to the room just talking our ears off. Came into our rooms to show us around, which you don't need, the rooms are tiny. We literally felt like we had to sneak in and out just to escape him. And over priced for what it is. Its absolutely beautifully designed inside. Just doesn't seem to know what it is to run a hotel, and please add a door to your bathrooms in the rooms. I would never recommend or stay at this hotel ever. Id rather sleep on a bench in the middle of Swansea than stay here again.
Stayed in seaview room, not only the room has a stunning view over the seaside, internally the interior has a lot of tastes. The owner must have put in a lot of effort and time to decorate it. It is a great if you could relax in the bedroom and enjoy the seaview in any weather. The gound floor common area also has a great collection of records, the music sound is also very good. Generally you feel very cosy and comfomtable when you are inside the hotel.
Disappointing hotel, not worth all the money paid! Very overpriced. We passed the place 3 times as there is no sign outside. Also the pictures are lies as I believe the good reviews must be too. If I return to Swansea I prefer to sleep on the beach than in this hotel as the room is so small. Nothing else needed to say except look somewhere else and avoid a terrible experience.
Best design and hospitality. Definitely recommend the suite room,comfort,cleanliness,service, everything was perfect. Love every staffs, Timothy is super helpful and amazing in every way. Thank you so much for giving such a memorable experience. Will definitely come back!
The Music Fable is a damn sexy hotel you must stay once before you die, it is a beautiful place to stay, it is right in front of the beach, my room is so beautiful with Seaview, very atmospheric and extremely cool, furnished with a Victorian bath overlooking the beach with what looked like original Victorian taps and shower. I been told by the butler the sound system in the room is the same one being used by Andrew Lloyd Webber’s record producer and it sounded really fabulous in deed! The breakfast! OMG - two words - Delicious & Impressive! Never, stay in a hotel like this in my life!
I booked this hotel because of the reviews so I’m going to post a review hopefully to help someone not book into this hotel. The price of the room was expensive whilst the room size was very small with no tv! Trust me, it would be much better to book in a Travelodge or a Premier Inn. I stayed in Hilton Hotel in Cardiff next day which included breakfast, parking space and a room 3 sizes bigger than the one in the music fable not to mention WITH A TV and it was just a bit over the price I payed for the room in this hotel. Think twice before booking, in my opinion it’s not worth it.
I was looking at a hotel for friends visiting. I read reviews and all seem to be from outside UK. Sounds ABIT strange to me, so not risking it. Plus most expensive hotel in area for where it is.Location: 1/5
I have never written a bad review in my whole life, but I am so upset with this hotel and the man who runs it, I have to make people aware. After taking my credit card details for a provisional booking last week over the phone, then subsequently calling back just 3 hours on realising I cannot make that date, the man I spoke to had already taken the full amount of £300 for a 2 night stay and point blank refused to pay it back. I have tried to contact him on several occasions to discuss, he has hung up the phone on me and has been threatening and downright sleazy in his manner toward me. On Friday he asked for me to send an email requesting a refund, that he would 'consider' and let me know on Monday. He did not. I spoke to him today, Tuesday, and he is basically holding my money to ransom unless I write him good reviews, and even then my refund is still a consideration. He is basically blackmailing me for money that he should not have in the first place. I have not received any form of confirmation or emails about my booking but the money has been taken from my account. From the first time I spoke to him he has been unprofessional in his manner and as mentioned before rather seedy toward me on the phone. On first enquiry about the hotel last week he immediately offered me an 'upgrade' but would not tell me to which room, told me that 'if he liked me, which he thinks he does', he may have champagne for me on arrival. Initially I just thought he was maybe a little quirky and wasn't judgemental toward it. However, now I feel I am glad I could not make that weekend as I would not have felt comfortable staying there with him and the manner in which he acts on the phone. I would say to anyone thinking of dealing with this man to stay clear, he is a conman and a very unpleasant person. I am not sure how long he plans to run a business like this in such a lovely place such as swansea where other hotels are so lovely and welcoming. I have contacted trading standards about him and am going down different routes to make sure I not only receive my money back but also that he does not get away with acting like this in the future.
