Staff really enthusiastic and welcoming. .doing the best they can!
Good service, the staff are very friendly. Tasty lunch at a reasonable price; some good gluten free options. Very nice ambience. Handy for the train station if you have a wait.

Wouldn't usually go to a sports bar, but to be fair , I didn't notice any sport blaring out whilst there. The adherence to covid regs was excellent as was the table service.
This is an old English pub which is a dying breed. I really like it and would be in there far more often if I lived in Winchester. Only drank their Mucky Duck Bitter the other night. That's a nice pint. Merry Christmas!
Went here to watch the rugby world cup final, so the pub was packed. The staff stayed friendly and helpful throughout the manic pre-match drinks ordering, also selling good coffee and bacon / sausage sarnies. Nicely decorated pub, really good atmosphere and a good place to eat and drink. Great local pub.
Great old pub that is traditional in many ways but during a rugby match, seamlessly becomes a great Sports Bar. Best bar by a mile to watch the rugby. We travel from Southampton to watch the 6 Nations here every year.
