Both my son and I have used Mike's excellent services for years. Helpful and thorough he is an accomplished motorcycle mechanic.
My first time visit today for my Triumph Rocket111 MOT. Mike was working alone, and appeared to have a lot of work on; despite this, he was able to book me in with very short notice, and started the work as soon as I arrived. MOT was carried out quickly and professionally whilst I was there. Mike also kindly carried out some adjustment for me on a point of major failing. I highly recommend 'The Motorcycle Mechanic'. It is well located and easy to find on the Wickham Road- no doubt I will be visiting again in the future. Thank You.
Very happy with the service provided. This is the second time I have taken my motorcycle in for an M.O.T and it passed both times. I also had my rear tyre replaced their prices are quite fair I used to take my motorcycle to the Priory Garage Titchfield Hill but they don`t do motorcycle M.O.Ts anymore, So The Motorcycle Mechanic Mike Garland has been a perfect replacement. I can highly recommend.
Mike has just had my Kawasaki GTR1400 in for a few niggles and an MOT. I have previously had my BMW MOT'd here as well. The big Kawasaki can often be a daunting bike to work on for a lot of mechanics, due to its sheer volume of fairings and difficult access. I had front suspension and rear brake issues. Mike had me booked in within a couple of days and had it turned around within 48hrs. My front suspension has been transformed and my rear brake now works as it should, so much so that I took the long route home, even though the roads were cold, damp and greasy when I picked it up. Very reasonably priced too. Can't recommend Mike highly enough.
Stumbled onto this establishment accidentally and met Mike to have my chain slack fixed. He did it within 10 minutes and with reasonable charge as well. Fast forward a month later, and I just got into an accident where a vehicle had rear ended my bike and saw me flying across the station roundabout. Chain was completely thrown off its guides, and the back plate were pushed in to its wheels and also noticed my handlebars bent. Sent it to Mike on the same day, and he gladly went to inspect it straight away even without prior booking and without expecting me outside waiting for him at his garage. Came back after work on the same day, and my bike is ready to be used again, with all major faults fixed. Really recommends him.
Been recommend this garage by a friend, and now it's the only place I trust to take my bike even though I have 5 other garages much closer by. Professional and knows his stuff, highly recommend!
Used for 1st time today after 3 motorcycle friends recommended Mike. Top service. Mike quoted a higher price for a headlight bulb replacement to fit my scooter because it required removing some panels. Didn't take him as long as quoted and this was reflected in a lower charge than expected. Had an MOT. Refreshing to see such good service. Definitely will use The Motorcycle Mechanic again and recommend him to other friends.
Had a tyre fitted, booking in was very simple, tyre fitted, wheel balanced perfectly and very courteous....... highly recommended

Mike was recommended to me by a police colleague. Really really happy with the work completed. My bike is an absolute dream to ride now. The cost of my 12000 service was extremely reasonable, particularly in comparison to Triumph. I will most certainly be utilising his services again.
