Thought we’d try a Sunday Lunch after Jan and her friends had a lovely meal the previous week. The lunch was top class and very generous. Nice to have good food again locally. I refused ever to go back a long time ago with the previous arrogant owner, but these staff are great and it will be a regular place for us once again
Just visited for a surprise 25th wedding anniversary meal with 30 guests and the service was amazing. They made us feel very welcome & were part of creating a very special evening! Cannot thank them enough for everything last night for the amazing food and atmosphere we will definitely be back. Even gave us the whole of downstairs - truly amazing!
Seven of us had a birthday celebration meal tonight and without exception we all thought everything was excellent. Food first rate, service professional and friendly, cleanliness very good and atmosphere very pleasant. It was our first visit and we will definitely be back again soon. Highly recommend.Rooms: 5/5
Had lunch here today and absolutely superb. Under new management since we last visited and now an Italian restaurant with pasta/pizza, steak and chicken dishes all great value. Well worth a visit
First visit today and must say I was very impressed. We were seated straight away, excellent service for drinks and food. The food was delicious and the staff were brilliant. I would definitely recommend to anyone and it's guaranteed i will be returning.Food: 5/5
Booked for a meal as family ordered our meals, as a family of 9 only 8 meals turned up we all finished eating and my sons still wasn't there so I had to cancel and go to macdonalds . 3 of us had the lamb which we didn't eat as it was rubbery and didn't taste nice. Manager was very nice and did take my criticism but all in all very disappointed and won't go back again.
We just ate in the restaurant, as a table of 12. The food was unreal. Everyone satusfied and full. Most of all the service is second to none. I worked in hospitality for years and would’ve been proud to work with a team like that. Top notch. Keep it up guys.

Food was OK but had better, we waited way too long for it. Potato skins were cremated, bruschetta wasn't great & drowned in tomato.Food: 4/5
