Our restaurant, The Moody Boar is located in the Palace Demesne Public Park in Armagh. It has been born out of a Love Food concept (eat, relax, enjoy). We grow our own herbs and vegetables in the restaurant garden and from foraging in the park.

We Love Food to be fresh, homemade and full of flavour, ensuring respect for the ingredients that we use and the dishes we produce; therefore everything made in the restaurant has been made from scratch.
This also crosses over into the restaurants relaxed, quirky and stylish interior.

A nice casual upper class eatery with very tasty food and friendly staff in a great quite location.
Exquisite food and lovely staff
Have never been disappointed with the Moody Boar. I have celebrated a quiet civil service champagne lunch some years ago, booked the private room for my sons christening dinner and go regularly for coffee and lunch. Food is delicious. Staff have always been so friendly and professional - nothing too much bother. Well worth a visit - work up an appetite with a walk around the grounds. A little gem.
Fantastic eating experience. My wife and I were over from London and this restaurant amazed us! Food excellent. Manager/server ginger beard, sorry didn't catch your name a definite asset, very welcoming and attentive. If in Armagh a must!!

Our dinner today was really really delicious...the steak was cooked to perfection and the slow cooked beef was mouth watering.. lovely atmosphere and friendly staff.. already looking forward to my next visit.. highly recommend..
A pretentious coffeeshop and restaurant located in the heart of the Palace Stables. This venue has a limited appeal for middle aged women, council workers, and guests attending functions at the Stables. This venue tries to be welcoming to those with children, but it comes across as forced, and disingenuine. Prices further my opinion of this, it's pricey. I"d expect more reasonable prices especially for those attending the free adventure park with children about 100 metres away. This venue is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.
Lovely food, lovely service and lovely atmosphere. There was a big group of us. We were all served at same time. I love coming here
