The Missing Sock is great venue. Kevin and his team were very friendly and accommodating for us, the food was great and all our guests said the venue was amazing. Really good pub grub for dinner. Came with a group of friends and their children all under 3, and the staff were all very accommodating to us. Highly recommend to those with young children. Not many others in eating which was a shame to see, but will spread the word on our experience!  Kid-friendliness: Didn&#39;t mind the kids running in the empty room

Under new ownership and doesn't do food on a Saturday lunchtime as we found out the hard way we tried calling in advance but got no answer.  Edit: after receiving a decent response I've edited this to 3* to give benefit of doubt. But still update your website and Google hours with food times. Surely it only takes 10 mins and saves a family driving further than this to find what looked to be a promising meal out a no go.

I attended 3 weeks ago and scored a 4star. My recent visit was for a family wedding , which was very successful. Food, management etc are now well worth the 5star. Facilities excellent and varied and can be tailored to your individual need.Service: 5/5

We stayed in 'The Glamping Tents ' on Sunday night. 2 adults and 5 kids! We survived . It was utterly chilled out and a brilliant experience. Thanks so much to the team for a truly wonderful memory. We all had the best time and the kids can't wait to do it all again!! For the first time this Summer holidays it felt safe to let them be themselves and enjoy the freedom and fun that you created. The marshmallows are still being talked about now. The kids were able to be kids    totally priceless xx  Vegetarian options: Loads of veggie choices   Kid-friendliness: Beyond kiddie friendly. Enclosed and fun.  Parking: Loads of parking  Dietary restrictions: My daughter has a soya and total milk protein allergy. This was taken seriously and alternatives were made available.

Great friendly new management team. Awesome glamping experience. Fabulous breakfast that could only be beaten by adding black pudding. Will definitely be back and would highly recommend

Went to a bouncing Castle event. Didn't appear as advertised. My daughter was bored quite quickly same repetitive castles. 45 minutes wait to have face painted. For a no shoe event the ground was unsafe with lots of stones. The decking area had nails pertruding. No parking remaining in the car park. They seem to of over booked the event. Not worth the hour journey. Could of went to a local place for cheaper

Editing the review after management replied asking why the low score. The Sunday roast I had was tough to eat, bland gravy and swimming in grease. Wasn't a pleasant meal at all and the group I was with all had similar thoughts. Lovely big open bar that will be great as an events space, but the decor isn't one theme. Everywhere you look, different style and vibe with quite random designs dotted about. Needs to be a little more cohesive in style.

Whenever I go there it's closed Whenever I call no-one answers clearly they can't run a business so I'll take mine elsewhere, when I'm trying to organise a wedding. Good luck making any money when you can't answer the phone.
