Slow service. Food was poor. Had salmon fishcake which was small and containing just a little salmon. Vegetables were not hot. Brocolli was seriously overcooked. No -one asked if our meals were ok. Waited ages for one guest to get her dessert. We did not have time to wait for coffee. We won't be returning.

Great place to eat. We went on a Wednesday which was pie night and the food was amazing. Rabbit and venison pie was delicious. And reasonably priced.
Good food. Nice staff. Great atmosphere. Will be back as never disappoints.

A very traditional pub. Mainly used for eating. The food is very good and not expensive. Fixed menu is £11-95 for two courses. plenty of choice. Nice atmosphere.
