The Store is a treasure trove of books, I always try to visit when I am in York. The staircases are a bit narrow which for me add to the charm.

Are you a student? Do you like to read but can't afford the crazy prices at Waterstones? Well have I found a place for you!

This dainty little establishment, located just next to the York Minster, is a god send! 
I've bought countless books from them and I, personally, cannot say a bad word about the building or the staff.
If you're low on funds (or just want to get old classic for a low price), this is the place for you!

Also, for some of you collectors out there. Some of the books they have in the store are older editions that cannot be purchased at other, mainstream, bookshops.

Loads and loads of books. Loads of rooms over so many levels. Staircases packed with books too. A delightful shop to visit.
