The GPs at the practice were really great and Dr Milligan is very popular for good reason. Very talented. -- The practice management is a different story - hasn't been helpful to patients. The communication with patients, as directed by the practice management, lacks understanding, empathy or respect to the patients. Can be seen in other review responses. -- My advice to those reading reviews - if youre unable to get an appt too - is if you can go to a vhi clinic then do - i recommend it as the next best available option. You can also see them online. D-doc is also an option but not the only one available. Note the GPs here also work for D-doc - i'm unsure if that's related to why they keep sending people there. Its also more expensive than vhi clinic if you have vhi insurance. -- The advice being given out to go to D-doc or A&E is poor.. they keep saying 'its correct' but i'm unsure what's that's referring to? Correct according to who or what? -- I also don't know why they didn't at least provide more options to be more helpful to patients. They have a website - they could post some helpful advice up there? Could use that more proactively than a voice recording with unhelpful advice to call back and not to send emails for appointments? -- The management of patient communication is not great - just preparing people for what they might have to deal with. Its likely to be a stressful experience so best to be prepared for that. -- I recommend attempting once and then moving straight on to d-doc or vhi to get medical care - its not reasonable or medically safe in some cases to expect people to spend all day for a number of days trying to get through to the GP. You might not get through.

Dr Milligan and the team are very professional and very friendly.  Over the years I have gone back to Suzanne because I like her approach to patient care and can discuss anything with her. She is a very approachable and nice person and this shines through at Milligan Family Practice. The team are very good and try to accommodate appointments quickly and efficiently. A great service.

Would highly recommend Dr Tricia Davies at this practice - she really listens, cares and has an excellent bedside manner. She explains things well and is very friendly and approachable. I was terrified of doctors before attending her , so am delighted to find such a nice GP.

I had an appointment at your practice this morning. I would just like to say that my experience from my initial call to your receptionist right through to your nurse and doctor was very impressive! Your staff are very pleasant, efficent and professional. Great service all round.

So far so good. I moved from own GP at home in Kildare due to his retirement and my now residency in Dublin. I was referred to Dr Stephen Thompson and was very happy with his professionalism and advice. From the receptionist right through to the doctor it was an efficient and friendly experience. It was a basic enough check up with a prescription. Cost = €50. All in all I would have no problem recommending them.

Excellent surgery with efficient helpful staff. I have been a patient of Suzanne's for many years and followed her to this practice even though it's a bit of a journey for me. The whole team here are nothing but absolute professionals always presenting with a friendly smile & chat

I cannot rate Milligan Family Practice highly enough.  Suzanne Milligan is the most wonderful GP I have ever dealt with. She is kind, thoughtful and incredibly empathetic.  I would advise anyone especially those with children to use this practice.

I am very disappointed with the service I receive from this practice. On different occasions I have phoned for an appointment and been referred to "D DOC" time and again.  You rarely get to see the same doctor twice.  It is very evident that they have far too many patients and unable to cope. If I wanted to use D DOC I would NOT bother registering with a GP.  I also notice that they have signs around the area inviting more local people to register with them.

What a friendly. ...efficient and wonderful surgery.  I found from the moment I hobbled in that Fiona the receptionist was super friendly and the doctor whom I had an appointment with couldn't have been more thorough, which considering my injury I really appreciated. Can't sing their praises enough.

Brilliant GP's and especially great for children. Spotlessly clean, friendly and efficient receptionists and the medical staff are very thorough, great communicators and give you the full time and attention you need. If I moved from the area I would still travel to this practice.
