"The pretty windmill isn’t the only feature that makes The Milestone at Hinckley a great pub, but it’s a good place to start! The Milestone is a modern pub with traditional touches like wooden beams and exposed brickwork. Go outside and discover our stylish beer garden and children’s play area, which will keep the kids entertained while you grab some well earned down time. Whatever time of year you come, you’re guaranteed a warm welcome, good pub grub, and a huge choice of drinks. All at really reasonable prices that make eating out in Hinckley a treat you can afford anytime. The bar and restaurant areas of our pub are clean, comfortable and spacious. We’re a nice place to relax from lunchtime until late."

We visited here twice during our stay away. Both times were a pleasure. The waitress was accommodating, friendly, and helpful. The food is great value for money.
Update 13/2/2023 Went back Milestone for a meal, it’s quite a quiet night, food we had was lovely, staff was so friendly and nice, a lot better than last experience, thank you Have been using Milestone for many years, service is up and down and same as their food. I had delicious food and had not so yummy food! This time my steak was so OVERCOOKED, I ordered medium rare but received a piece of tough well done steak! My friend had fish and chips and she enjoyed hers. Menu is decent, price is reasonable but I believe it’s understaff, it’s hard to get a staff to ask for sauces. The place is always clean, garden area is beautiful and great for nice weather. It’s a dog friendly pub, even inside ~ in certain area, but it’s not as friendly as some places that offer bowls of water or maybe treats / biscuits. Parking is free and plenty, not 100% sure if any time limit?
I went for Christmas meal with my team mates. Food was good and staff are very friendly. There is dely in servicing food, even though we preordred. They reserved top floor place for us, so much festive feel, enjoyed it..
I recently visited the Milestone Pub in Hinckley, Leicestershire, and I must say that it was a friendly experience. The pub has an inviting atmosphere, and the food and beer were both good. The menu at the Milestone Pub offers a wide range of options, and everything we ordered was delicious. The food was well-prepared, and full of flavor. Whether you're in the mood for a classic pub dish, a grill or a pizza - this place has got you covered. The beer selection was also good. They had a great variety of beers on tap, including some favourite beers. The staff were knowledgeable and happy to make recommendations based on our tastes. The service at the Milestone Pub was also fantastic. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made sure that we had everything we needed throughout our visit. Overall, I highly recommend the Milestone Pub to anyone looking for a great place to enjoy good food and beer. It has a welcoming atmosphere and I'll visit again!
Our group of 12 attended the Elvis Tribute last night, food was great, the place was packed and the atmosphere was brilliant. As regular customers we're really looking forward to the other planned tribute nights. Great night out
From arrival to time we left all The staff were polite & very helpful. They could not do enough for us. Wonderful atmosphere as well as the internal decoration of the pub/restaurant was beautiful. Will definitely visit again even if just for a drink.
With the exception of the waitress who was very nice and doing her best our visit wasn't very favourable. We were a party of 12 booked table for 5:30pm to 8:00pm. In our party was a 90 year old right down to a 7 and 4 year old, hence the early table time. We didn't leave the table at 8:00 has some of us were still eating our mains at that point. My 2 youngest grandchildren were happy with there meal as they only had pizza and ice cream sundee but unfortunately the rest of us were disappointed as their were over cooked chicken over cooked fries item's missing to mention a few. I appreciate it was very busy but feel that if you are opening to full capacity you should be catering to full capacity better. It had been a long time since we had visited before and I'm certain it will be a very long time before we consider returning again.
Starter very good. Ordered a normal portion of ribs & chicken, received a sharer, and charged for it. Main course ordered a sirloin steak medium. The worst quality sirloin steak I have had in a very long time. Fat and gristle in my sirloin??? Overcooked for medium, the underside was black inside pink. Partner enjoyed her meals. Nearly £70 for two courses plus a couple of drinks each. Definitely not good value for the money. Place was not busy, so no excuses.
Staff were very friendly and helpful, my husband has a cheese allergy so we have to be very careful when we eat out . He ordered a burger with no cheese and it came out with an allergy stick in it which he thought was amazing ! Food was really nice and tasty and will definitely be back for lunch next week
Booked a table for a celebratory bite to eat, new job offer and my Birthday. Prawn cocktail was loads of lettuce, a few prawns and possibly a teaspoon of tasteless seafood sauce. Cheesy garlic bread lacking any taste of cheese whatsoever !!!. My partner had BBQ pizza, would have had better from Iceland, I know for a fact it sat under a heat lamp for approx 30 minutes. Dried and knackered. Steak and ale pie cooked to death and as dry as a bone, cold chips, lumpy gravy, peas like rocks. Dirtywine glass, this is the worst pub grub I've ever had and we waited nearly an hour for the main event. Shocking, never again.
