Situated in the heart of picturesque Burford High Street, The Mermaid Inn is the perfect place to stop for refreshment on your visit to this beautiful part of the historic Cotswolds, we strive to offer the best in local hospitality and to make your visit a happy and memorable one.

Comprising two floors (upstairs is our candlelit restaurant) so from intimate dining to eating in the bar area, you can be assured of a warm welcome from our vastly experienced staff, with an extensive range of excellent beers & real ales so good in fact we have been given a head brewers club award and now May 2012 have just been awarded Cask Marque certificate of excellence, so you know our ales are very good, also worldwide wines and spirits, we also serve cream teas and coffee in addition to a range of light snacks.

Our varied menu contains something to suit all tastes, including traditional Sunday lunches using the finest free-range locally produced meat.

Whether you are looking for a peaceful drink whilst watching the world go by from the front terrace, or a break from sightseeing in our secluded courtyard, you'll find a warm and friendly welcome and authentic Cotswold atmosphere at the Mermaid Inn.
