Excellent lunch with a large group of families. The food was superb. The customer service was top notch. The food delivery was a little slower than ideal but worth the wait. I wasn’t aware of the beer garden too which is an added bonus. The pub is also dog friendly
Helpful and friendly staff. Chloe was great. Popped in for a roast and was not disappointed. We chose the swinger roast a bit of an odd name which consisted of beef, pork and chicken to share. The portion was huge and the quality was brilliant. Crispy pork, perfectly medium rare beef and tasty chicken. My bug bare with most pub roasts is non crispy potatoes. But the chef here really knows what he is doing. Potatoes were perfect. I will visit again soon.
Very nice staff and the food was nice. But unfortunately the food was cold when it arrived. I would come back and try again though.
Liked the New England Beer but the margerita wasnt amazing spoken from someone who drinks a lot of them.
This place has gotta be among the 10 worst pubs in London. I’ve never had a worse burger since buying one at a kids football tournament but that cost £2. This one however cost £15.5. They brought hot chocolate for my son but they forgot the sugar so had to look for it ourselves. Ditto napkins and ketchup for the burgers. To cap it all, they charged us £8 of service charge. You cannot make it up.
First visit to this pub for local resident. First impressions Welcomed with a reservation, booked in to watch the football and grab a spot of dinner with a pint. Was met with a very friendly group of staff, who provided an excellent spot and table service to all enjoying the game. I had some beer tasters and went with Doom Bar, although they had some light Pale Ales. Food Great mix of pub grub with lots of veggie and vegan options. Proper wedge chips and very quick service. I tried the vegan brioche BBQ Jackfruit Burger and wasn't disappointed. Complex They kept football fans well cared for to one side and ensured all other guests had free roam of spacious and twinkle lit pub. There is an outside area and little coves to sit and chat. I was particularly taken with the additional notices of support, care and facilities toward baby changing requirements. Signs also supported dogs welcome in the pub, which as a non dog owning dog lover is exactly what I hope for. Overall All in all, this is a little gem just off Streatham Common, that is run by a very passionate team who have set the scene for a very well run and friendly establishment. Whether it's quick pint, nibble or catching the match. I recommend this venue to all locals, families and canine companions. Like this review if it was helpful.
We like this pub and it has a great Sunday pub quiz. However, we recently tried to use a voucher that we won at one of the pub quizzes, only to be told it wouldn’t be accepted. A bit disappointing and didn’t quite feel in the spirit of the pub and quiz!
Food took ages, eggs were undercooked and cold. My friend said it was the world's worst burger and I believe her, it looked bad! Wouldn't eat here again, sorry. Would have told the staff but we weren't even asked how our food was so didn't get the chance to give feedback. #worldsworstburger
Good pub but never open at 11 on a Saturday like it says on the door/online, even if you’ve booked a table for that time.
Went on a Sunday night, it was not too busy. Very cosy atmosphere. Had the chicken roast, it was tasty and the portion very generous. The vegs were a bit oily..but it's ok, very good for the price! Would return again.
