We stopped here specifically for fish and chips, we were traveling from further north back to Dublin and searched for options on Google Maps. We were not disappointed! Huge portions and super fresh! You order at the counter and they bring it to you when ready, everything seemed like it was made to order and not sitting around. It is a small restaurant, we went at an odd time and there were 2 other people eating, so I'm not sure if there are busier times to account for.

I have never tasted fish chips so fresh in all my days! I don't live anywhere near here but I will travel back. Between the food and how friendly and welcoming the staff were, carlsberg don't do fish and chips, but if they did, they still wouldn't be as nice as The Merchant
