If cheese is your thing, this is the place to head to. Fantastic range from suppliers local and from afar. Very helpful behind the counter, great recommendations and good value for quality produce.

You walk into this shop and really don't know what cheese to pick, there is every sort that you can think of, the ladies in there are lovely and really helpful, the cheese is lovely and you can choose what size you would like. I would certainly recommend.

An amazing selection of local and wider cheeses and at a good price, weighed to you preference. Owners were very helpful and friendly. Highly recommended for cheese lovers!

Best choice of local and international cheese in the east midlands. Also good choice of pickles, fresh breads, pastries and sometimes cured meats. I get 5 cheeses here every week! Staff very knowledgeable and happy to give samples. Pork Pies are also great, and made by an independent butcher so you won't find in the supermarket.

Well worth the drive over from Derby.

Good clean shop I will call again

Given that this is a cheese shop in Melton Mowbray I was a bit disappointed with the Stilton. Don't get me wrong it was still very nice but, strangely, I think the Stilton from the pie shop was nicer. Both are fairly expensive for what they are. Maybe I'll try the pies from the cheese shop next time I am passing through!

Had a great experience at The Melton Cheeseboard today. Service was very good and I was allowed to sample a variety of cheeses before making a decision. Great selection and good value. Will definitely return and recommend.
