So couldn't get to see the doctor or nurse for my daughter. Then phone 111 and get told she really should see a doctor today. Then 111 email the surgery to say this. Get a phone call to say we will hear from the 'on call' doctor. THE 'ON CALL' DOCTOR, IS MY DAUGHTERS DOCTOR! Staff at the desk seem like you are an inconvenience. You have to justify why you want to see a doctor and they find a way to fob you off. Trying to find ways to be more 'efficient' by making it harder to get an appointment in the first place, thus making their figures look better. Lower waiting times....BECAUSE YOU CANT GET TO SEE ANYONE! I feel for NHS staff as they haven't got the tools for their job.

I also would give this place no stars if I could where do I start firstly trying to get an appointment is probably easier to book a place on the virgin space flight coming soon, I've been on the phone before for 25 minutes trying to get through at 9 in the morning to be told all the appointments have gone lol every day you get this.then a while back I was sufferinging with problems swallowing I went to the dr's there on 15 occasions to be fobbed off and the last straw was when my dr told my wife that the problem with me is that it's all in my head which I won't lie enraged me so I contacted PALS in Colchester told them what had gone on for the last few months with my Dr and they booked me an appointment at Colchester with the ENT Team to theirs and my horror my throats was full of non cancerous tumors covering almost all of my breathing tube it's all in my head Dr Abu Seido said I suppose in a funny was he was right it was all in my head but not my imagination like he told me it was but in my throat, since then I have had 17 procedures to debulk the tumors it's an on going problem for life my Dr said I was obsessed that there was something wrong and I had a kind of mental problem fixating on my throats lol never a sorry never a I got this dreadfully wrong.most of the time you see different Dr's and never your own that's if you can get an appointment to begin with.i complained once to the practice manager got told to put it in a letter which I did handed it in at reception and got told it must have got lost in the post lol said they never received it all I got was a breif conversation with a rude and obnoxious practice manager who it seems even the staff their don't speak to highly off since they moved from the old place it's just so different the old drs like Aldrick and Wynn ran he place right since they went downhill is a polite term hope they sort there selves out as people are suffering because of the way they run it sorry if. Bit long but 100% the truth

Trying to get through on the telephone is a disgrace. I have tried consistently waited patiently in the phone as I am told I "am held in a queue", after 10 minutes to be good by another automated voice that, your call won't be answered. THIS IS A DOCTORS SURGERY, and some people cannot get to the surgery. So what do they have to do? Call 999!!!!!!. The Nurses are run of their feet, that's before you can contact your Doctor.

This place is the reason the NHS will be privatised.

Taking away the walk in service is very worrying, often you cannot get through quick enough to be able to make an appointment for that day and if the lines were busy, you have to try again the next day. Having to turn up in person to make an appointment, which for mums is difficult. Also you have to wait in most of the day for the Doctor to phone back and could have to explain highly personal things from our workplace, or in public.
