Always avoided the place because they just served lager, cider and Guinness so didn't really like anything but they've added a nice pale ale at some point and the food was always basic but good so I quite enjoyed it there tonight and will return.
TERRIBLE FOOD!!!nnOver priced for what you get!! Half of the stuff on the menu was unavailable.. I shall never be eating here again. The lasagne was absolutely terrible and chips were atrocious. I tried a bit of everyone's meals as no one enjoyed it and every dish was bad. The balti was the worse curry I've ever tasted and the Lamb shank was like chewing leather. They clearly need a new chef. The service was fine with a smiling well mannered young girl behind the bar, but for the food, it was horrendous. Especially for what you pay for. £12 for lasagne?? I would say more like £2.50
Went for food here with my family steak meals are ridiculous small won't be returning any time soon hardly any chips on my plate and my meal was 21 pounds rip off pub and over priced pints £4.60 for a madri .
Great pub and food, not sure about the rooms but I hear they are ok.
