My daughter got the day wrong for her appointment with the Nurse today. She was mortified. She is Autistic and the fact really upset her. Reception staff were really kind and rescheduled her appointment for later today. She was very pleased with all staff and Nurse. Top marks..
I have had to visit the practice on a few occasions over the years - although fortunately not too often! I have always found the staff, both clinical and admin, to be helpful, courteous and professional. Like other medical establishments, there are rules e.g. Marisco's phone lines go live at 8am for same day appointments and it's advised to call as close as possible to 8am to be in best chance of securing an appointment. Before the pandemic there was a turn up on the morning system, but this stopped then for obvious reasons.
I have not long been living in Mablethorpe, and I can not praise Marisco Medical Practice enough. They have already helped me so much and are far superior my my previous doctors. Big thank you !
Phone call was arranged by surgery for Friday 1st March 2024. This was for my father who is 93 . Waited all day and phone did not ring.so even when they arrange they do not bother to phone.now we have old man who is very stressed not knowing even what the phone call was about. Good job I am not managing this set up.
Lovely doctors, but sure is a shame you never get to see them, you have a higher chance of winning the lottery than getting an appointment here. The only good thing about this place used to be the dentist's but that's gone now too. Here's one of many examples I could choose from: I went for a rash on my face and they gave me some anti-fungal cream to deal with the infection causing it, and they told me to come back in 3 weeks if it wasn't gone. Here I am over a year later still unable to get a follow-up appointment and now they're cancelling the prescription for the only thing keeping it in check. Absolutely appalling. Good luck getting an appointment here. AVOID. AVOID. AVOID.
Good luck getting an appointment if you're going to work, ring up to book an appointment a couple of weeks in advanced, get told no but also told to ring up on the day I wanted an appointment at 8am and hope I get through to get an appointment on that day, how is anyone meant to see a doctor if they're working 8-5, what a joke
A few years back Dr lowe spotted my illness, literally saved my life if left untreated, since then been under consultant, regular checks, marisco and NHS have been second to none, massive gratitude to all, nothing wrong with this practice far as I'm concerned
I can honestly say through my recent experience that there has been lots of positive changes in the last few months. Calls are answered quicker, staff are more friendly and helpful, appointments whether urgent or routine have become more available and my two recent hospital referrals were absolutely brilliant. Given the pressures on GP practices and the sometimes disrespectful patients, I think Marisco have turned a corner and are trying hard to deliver a better service for us all!!
I actually cannot believe the level to which the staff couldn’t care less about an elderly patient being ill or unable to get to them to get an appointment, no online booking service available even though clearly states there is on the website. You can book an appointment but if you actually need to be seen sooner than in two to three weeks it’s urgent care or nothing, regardless of the fact that you are in pain, need to be seen by a gp or just need a drs surgery that actually cares for the people they supposedly treat. I’m completely disgusted by the attitude of the staff on the phone, I’m also surprised I even got through in the first place. Needs serious overhauling. This is not acceptable
Attended an appointment with Dr Grace this morning and received a fantastic service. She was informative, empathetic and very approachable. Dr Grace was extremely understanding of a personal issue and i will definitely see her again.
