Got a sausage supper and cheese on it and a fish supper. Sausage wasn't the best so had to make do with the chips and cheese. Fish was already cooked and in the food storage bit so not worth the money as i don't know how long it was in there for. Staff are fast at serving and always very kind and helpful thank you Vegetarian options: I don't know if all chip shops do this but some have only one oil for all meats and chips together. So unsure about this due to not knowing if its one oil or two Kid-friendliness: Very good for kids as a treat Parking: Parking near public toilets and across the road from armor vet Wheelchair accessibility: Shop is very small so unsure about this question Dietary restrictions: Unsure
Great chips and fish best I have tasted. Don’t usually eat chips but they were nice. Staff was friendly and helpful and very clean
Abrupt and unfriendly staff, more interested in chatting than customer service. Used to be a great chip shop that I always went into when passing but won’t be back. Asked if the sit in was still open and the ‘boss’ with glasses shouted to the girl standing beside me “wurr shut”, ignored me completely. Chips were fine.
Got fish suppers, sausage supper, fritter. Fish and sausage rotten, not nice at all. Didn’t taste fresh, Chips the same. All tasteless. Wouldn’t recommend. Fritter was nice though !
Worst food I've eaten in a long time. Staff had horrific attitude. If 'battered' pizza means that someone actually beats it up before giving it you then they succeeded. Chips looked like they were sitting since New Year's Eve. Lassie didn't even say thanks or goodbye. No prices on the board? What has actually happened to this place. Feel sorry for the tourists that well end up visiting in the summer - that's if they are still open!
Never had a bad fish supper from this location, I have been going to this shop for over 60 years when visiting Girvan, tried the others, but they can't beat the marine fish restaurant. Very good portionsFood: 5/5

2nd visit to this place and I’m just as disappointed as the 1st. Not exactly cheap to eat out these days but when you do you expect a certain level of service which isn’t delivered by here, table service when it suits if they see you come in the door, had to go up and order food and pay the bill. Arguing between staff isn’t professional and absolute embarrassing to watch, waiting times are a joke, food order not correct when food finally arrived. In my opinion this restaurant needs to pull the socks up to learn and deliver what a customers basic needs are and really teach th the basics instead of leaving them to fail because no one has a clue what they should be doing. Will definitely not be returning here, I’ll stick to the harbour in future always consistency there and you know exactly what your getting every time.
Used the Marine Fish Restaurant as a go to when working in Girvan....would highly Recommend it, Fish good, black pudding fab & King Rib amazing..... Staff polite & friendly with quick service for takeaway
Probably the best chippy in the western hemisphere, have not had a supper which was not excellent except the haggis. The staff are really friendly, efficient and helpful. Parking: Beside a huge car park.
