Fantastic restaurant, lovely food, great service. Everything was really tasty, and of high quality. Had two small "for the table* starters which were huge, I had the steak and ale pie with chunky chips which was amazing, and my wife had the fish pie which also looked fabulous. We will be back. And allow space for a pudding next time. P.s. Malbec wine was lovely. Happy Anniversary to us
Must try this place at least once for a nice meal out. Very pricey but the quality of food makes it slightly worth your visit. I'm vegetarian and unfortunately there were only 2 non-pizza options for me - mushroom burger or this onion pasty pic. I can't tolerate mushrooms so left me with only one option... Definitely would recommend ordering a side of chips otherwise you'll be starving. Starters are expensive and small quantities. Could really do with more vegetarian options for the price you pay... Also of you want quantity, go elsewhere. On the contrary, the appearance of restaurant such as the tables, cutlery, washrooms are absolutely beautiful too. Wish my house looked like it! Vegetarian options: The vegetarian tarte with onions and new potatoes was delicious, well made, good ingredients, delightful cheese sauce. I ordered it with a side of chips otherwise it definitely would not have been enough food.
The food was fabulous. The only thing that let it down was the service. One waitress went on her break which resulted in the area we were sitting in not being monitored by other staff despite him being told to cover the area . We sat in front of the serving area and seen our puddings sitting there for 20 minutes & the chefs ringing the bell 3 times before we were served finally by the French I think waiter/maitre d who had to step in and rectify this issue for us he was fabulous by the way we then had to sit for even longer waiting to catch someone's attention to request the bill which again took a while to receive. £75 was spent & its a shame the service wasn't fully upto scratch.
The photos show you the level of quality that this Manor provides with each meal and their attention to detail from the interior is just as amazing. A great place to eat and would highly recommend a visit.Food: 5/5
This is a beautifully designed venue with a varied menu which was all cooked perfectly. We tried several dishes and we enjoyed them all, the standout dish for me was the Miso Lemon chicken with mixed green ms in a sesame sauce. The local ice cream was a great way to finish the meal. Highly recommended, we will be back.
First visit to the Manor, we have been to the other eateries in the chain. With the exception of not being asked for a drinks choice shortly after sitting the service was excellent with all staff very polite and attentive. The food was excellent and delicious. However we could not put a finger why the Manor seems to lack atmosphere. Everything is well appointed and the staff obviously well trained. It just lacked a little of the hustle and bustle of the Fishpool or the Pheasant.
Lovely Stylish place, particularly impressed with the ladies loos. Great staff & tasty menu. We're not local but like to visit for a special treat when we can Sunday lunch was excellentFood: 5/5
Really good Sunday roast. Very well cooked and the interior of the restaurant is really nice.Food: 5/5

We had Sunday lunch with relations. The place was very busy so had to wait even though we had booked. Otherwise the service was excellent with plenty of staff about. The food was very good for all of us and plenty of it. I had roast belly pork, roasted potatoes and veg. All very tasty and the gravy was very rich and added a depth to the meal. I know we will be going back again.
