Lovely venue and delicious food. Had starters and then the steak offer with a bottle of wine. Can't complain at that offer at all, will definitely be back. The wait was a bit long, service slow and there was only 3 tables in however waiting staff were very kind and had lovely customer service chat. Hoping will be quicker next time but it definitely hasn't put us off.
Great service from the team. Ordering was easy. Still table service. No service charge added either. Food was prepared and cooked to my liking. Very reasonable prices for very tasty dishes. Alcohol is not extortionately priced either like some quality eateries. The place was spotless and tastefully decorated.
Enjoyed a 3 course meal last night. Plenty of space. Really nice interior which gives it a rustic, country feel. Great menu, excellent food and a caring team. Thanks guys. We’ll be back :
This is my 2nd visit to this place inside a year and I was somewhat disappointed with my return compared to the first. we were a party of 14 and it was booked weeks before and on arrival they said they had no booking. Despite still having that call on my phone records it still was not listed. We did mange to get seated after a bit of humming and arhing and was told we will have a wait for food. The food was spot on as normal so no complaints but I was feeling a bit rough overnight with an upset tummy and that can happen when I eat a heavy meal which was fish and chips. A member of my party was very sick indeed and all the next day and he also had fish and chips. It is possible he just a had a bug which was coincidental. I put it down to co-incidence because the food here is very good but the non booking put me off from returning for a third time.
Well this is the third visit. Well worth the drive over there best steak we've had in ages, will deffo go again. Cannot beat the price anywhere for two 10oz rump steaks and a bottle of wine
This is worthy of 5 stars from me, we often forget about The Manor as it’s situated in Old Denaby and not on a main thoroughfare, however, once inside the decor is modern and spotless, the food has always been excellent pub food, it doesn’t pretend to be gastro but the food is excellent. Worth a visit
Very poor for the price. Extremely overpriced pub grub. Got our order wrong and had to eat at different times. The lasagne was standard frozen stuff. Extremely standard food for a premium price. Staff were polite enough and the starter was nice but that's about it.
It's gone a bit upmarket but I do like the decor. Service was friendly and attentive. We were there on Fathers day but managed to get a reservation. The wifi was down. There was a small queue for the carvery but that's fine. The carvery had a choice of beer pork gammon and turkey you can mix 2. They ask you if you want a Yorkshire pud. The vegetables and gravy you can put on your plate yourself. It was pretty good. parking is free
Excellent food. Exceptional quality. Gorgeous inside. And staff are lovely, helpful and go out of there way to help.
Well impressed with this place. Wasnt what I expected at all, quite blown away actually. Loved the decor very chic. The food was scrumptious, couldn't fault it. Recieved excellent service as well the staff were really happy to help and smiley, got a good vibe from the place. The bar was well stocked. Music created a nice relaxing feel, a really enjoyable evening for the family. We entered a competition too hoping to return as winners for date night. Would definately recommend a visit. Pudding was gorgeous compliments to the chef. :
