Visited for lunch on a Saturday. Two full English breakfasts for £10 with tea. The service was good and the lady that served us was very friendly. The food was mediocre and what you'd expect for the price. The sausages were particularly poor processed meat. It was quite cold in the pub and there was equipment left out from the night time entertainment, which wasn't ideal. Overall good value for money but probably wouldn't visit again.
I actually quite liked this pub. The atmosphere was good and chilled for Worcester, which makes a change. The live band they had on were pretty good and there was no charge to get in The only thing that let this place down was that they ran out of larger and Guinness early on a Saturday night, like 9:30pm early. Real shame as we probably would have stayed there most of the night Come on Maltster, sort it out
Having a good night of dancing with live band, then partner gets chucked out of Maltser when he walked away from gobby bar staff. Won't spend my well earned cash here again.
Lively place to go and have a drink, however, speakers were throughout the place, and as it was fairly empty the music was up so loud we had to shout to speak. An area where the speakers are slightly quieter would be appreciated
Not even worth it... went in on a bank holiday Friday with my co workers after doing a bar close at work to be cheated out of a 4 kracken and cokes and being subed for a cheaper version which you could taste when we complained the woman in the dungrees and striped shirt had some attitude problem and was screaching that even if she tasted it she wouldn't know the difference though was addiment that it was the more expensive one but on top of that she couldnt replace it because she had conveniently just run out of kracken. Perhaps before our order. But common sense shows she never had enough to forfil the order.
Had a great band, friendly punters, lots of dancing, didn't go near bar so can't really comment on that aspect.
Great pub, atmosphere, great bands, drinks can be a bit pricey that's the only downside
Fantastic service, great chilled atmosphere, and one of my favourite ales. Happy customer!!!
Nice spacious seating, expensive feel to the place. A place to catch up with friends.
