This weekend we hosted The Malcolm Whales Foundation Charity Ball at The Maltings. All the staff were absolutely brilliant and ensured everything ran smoothly on the evening, a particular mention to Jodie, Charlotte and Sonia. A special mention to Nina, who was so helpful throughout the planning and delivery of the event and made us feel like our event was in safe hands at every point. Thank you again for supporting us in the delivery of this event and enabling us to raise funds for a brilliant cause whilst providing our guests with a fun night in a beautiful building.
The venue is set in a lovely area, on the river in Ely, CambridgeshirennVisited to see a band but the atmosphere wasn't great. The lights were far too bright & at one point they were complete turned off leaving the crowd in darkness, just some light from the stage then it went bright again!nThere were a lot of tables at the far end of the hall so the majority of people sat down leaving the band to play to an empty dance floor for the 1st part of their set.nnI would imagine this is a great venue for wedding receptions.
Beautiful venue for a concert. Stage and sound set was exceptional. Staff were very accommodating and friendly.
Nice place, relatively small. Even free parking close by. Got there a bit early but had a drink, snack at a table reshow. Easy to get out.
Great local venue which hosts a multitude of events. I went to a wedding reception recently but have been to all sorts of craft fayres, films and events here.
