Open roof shopping centre in St. Alban's.nParking is tight but convenient.nSeveral large shop including TK Maxx, new look, H&M, Sports direct and many smaller boutiques. Few good coffee shops as well.nVery clean and pleasant shopping experience.
The Maltings shopping center is great. The cost of parking is reasonable. However, the car park is horrendous. There are pillars about every 3 spaces. If it's busy, and you have a large car, and depending if you want to drive in a space or reverse, you may have to decamp your passengers before doing so; if you don't, you could very well damage your car on the post, or, if the neighboring cars driver/passengers could very well damage yours. If I cannot find a decent space, I exit the car park without any charge, then try the car park on Drovers Way.
This is the main shopping mall in St Albans which include the car park and Library.
Parked here to take a wander around the town. Some small independent stores coupled with a couple of big names. Some lovely cafes along with some chain pubs and restaurants. Was ok to spend a couple of hours.
Maltings is a small town centre of St Albans. However there are other high street shops around. The Wednesday market provides some good market experience including cooked food.
