Only went for a quick drink but it has a friendly atmosphere, the staff where polite and helpful. The Menu looked good and not overly expensive.  The food being taken out of the Kitchen looked and smelt good. Will probably go back and try it at some point soon.

Lovely place to stop for a drink and a bite to eat after a nice walk around goit stock.
The staff are friendly and the food is amazing.

First visit after Facebook recommendations. A lovely little pub & the food was excellent. I had a lamb meal that was beautiful I did not want my meal to end. Good friendly staff & A warm welcome. 

It won't be my last visit that's for certain.

What a cosy place! On cold and rainy days the fireplace will be on and on sunny days, the beer garden will be open. It's also a perfect place for a break if you are planning a walk to Goistock waterfall. And of course all walkers are welcome!
