Story

Madeley Academy is a mixed secondary school and sixth form located in Madeley in the English county of Shropshire.Previously a community school administered by Telford and Wrekin Council, Madeley Court School converted to academy status in April 2007 and was renamed Madeley Academy. The school relocated from its previous site on Court Street to a new campus on Castlefields Way in 2009.Madeley Academy offers GCSEs and BTECs as programmes of study for pupils, while students in the sixth form have the option to study from a range of A-levels and further BTECs. The school also has a specialism in sports.

Bullying is not dealt with in a caring way. Has difficulties with children who have issues and don't know how to deal with it.

the staff are approachable and very helpful. In my own experience the support and encouragement to perform and achieve is supported by a lovely school environment.

As a parent of a Sixth former at Madeley Academy I have found all staff helpful to me when I have the information my son has had. Feedback has been very scant at times eg reports etc Tom should have very good grades but to date he hasn't collected his results. Had I been a little more aware of the situation, I would have ensured Tom didn't miss out on a fabulous day collecting results in August. My best wishes to all the staff & pupils for a successful 2015/16
