Went for brunch on a Sunday morning. They do full English plus a wide range of alternative options, including healthier meals. The rest of their menu looks great too. Staff attentive with great service even though they were almost full. You can order and pay by scanning the QR code at your table if you wish we liked this as made things quicker. Will definitely be back next time we're in the area.
First visit to the Lounge chain restaurants and we were really impressed with the variety and quality of the food. The restaurant it not far from the Theatre and has a friendly atmosphere. Cocktails were perfect. Will definitely visit this chain again in the future.Food: 5/5
This place has got it all: location, interior design, friendly staff and, most importantly, great food. We came in for a nice hearty breakfast and we were satisfied! Good portions. Tasty food. The only minus: poached egg was really overcooked.. so yolk was not runny which was a bit disappointing. But everything was tasty : highly recommended!
Thank you to the lovely host with the amazing black eyeliner, I’ve forgotten her name here on Good Friday for her great service. As a wheelchair user with a second wheelchair user in our party I was offered a good size and height table and also the option of adding additional height to the table legs with rubber stoppers. This option is a rarity and very welcomed. Thank you so much for your thoughtfulness. The food, drinks, decor and atmosphere were great. And the accessible toilet was a good one with all the appropriate fittings. Accessible free parking a couple of minutes away. A great place and will be back again. The excellent service nailed it. Thank you!
Great place to eat and we visited after a trip to the cinema. The food was really nice, service was great and there was a lovely atmosphere.Food: 5/5
Great place with huge potential. Nice atmosphere & well priced. Staff are great and friendly however more are needed ! 45 minutes for a drink isn’t acceptable. Dirty tables and and one girl working on the floor. She needs help bless her.
Very weird place. Pretty much do everything yourself then asked to pay a tip before any food, drinks or service is provided? Thats a new one on me. Staff Didn't seem care, and moved at the speed of flash from Zootopia. Thank god they didn't have any jokes to tell. Drinks Sat on the bar for a while before anyone decided to bring them to the table. Then the dirty cutlery arrived, which they promptly changed for more dirty cutlery ‍. Not a good experience for our first visit. Cant fault the Food, that was really nice. Even more so when they brought the food they forgot to to the table. Then the desserts arrived. Table still had the dishes on from the main. No cutlery for the desserts. Which soon arrived.....yes you guessed it, dirty ‍ Again can't fault the desserts looked amazing and tasted good. The chef most definitely saved the day! We were planning on coming back for tapas but think we'll give it a miss. Can highly recommend the milk stout though .
The customer service in this restaurant is absolutely shocking. After being ignored at the bar for about 5 minutes, a very grumpy man took our order. Several drinks were out of stock including the house wine which is fine, but no apology whatsoever, he just grunted at us “haven’t got that”…. “…or that”… “or that….”. He had serious attitude problems and made us feel like an inconvenience for placing an order for food….in a restaurant….bizarre. After being served the wrong food for two different other tables, our drinks finally arrived in dribs and drabs, including a bottle of wine with 4 filthy glasses. We asked them to be replaced and the young waiter looked properly annoyed at us, walked off, and then didn’t bring anything back after about 10-15 mins. I eventually gave up and went to collect new glasses myself from the bar. Self-service I guess?! Finally the food arrived, which was absolute fine - hot and perfectly edible. Having booked the table online in advance with a £40 deposit, that amount wasn’t deducted from the bill possibly our fault for not concentrating properly when ordering. We went back to the bar to reclaim the deposit, but were told it had to be done by the manager, and he was having to do the cooking because of short-staffing ?! We asked to speak to the manager anyway, and had intended to raise the other woeful customer service issues from earlier, only to find out he was the grumpy man that had served us at the till in the first place! I don’t like writing frustrated reviews online, but given that the manager turned out to be the exact person whose awful unfriendly attitude we wanted to raise, we had to just leave. I would be very happy to discuss this experience further with a member of management if you would like any constructive feedback. Short-staffing should never be a cause for poor attitude, and for lack of customer service.
We had burgers and milkshakes. Initially, the wrong order was brought to the table but it was promptly addressed and, once the correct order arrived, the food was tasty. The locations ambiance was let down by dirty and sticky tables, as well as rubbish on the floor which was ignored by the staff who walked passed it several times without cleaning it up. Parking: Location is less than 50m from parking. Wheelchair accessibility: Location is wheelchair friendly. Dietary restrictions: The staff will take note of and accomodate any dietary restrictions you may have.
Never had a problem here. But today was busy I was showed where to sit x went to the bar to order skimmed milk hot chocolate.. 16 mins later it was bought to the table, half in the saucer. I drank the cold offering x left disappointed unfortunately not long after my stomach groaned x the a loo needed badly.. only full fat milk causes this. Allergies need to be taken seriously
