Enjoyed my visit to Longman, be prepared for a hilly walk to the top, he is however better viewed from the car park

beautiful place and the trail also lovely. good to trek it as sunny day.

Car park at the bottom with access opposite to the path which you walk to get to him. Gentle at first but you need Wellington's or stout boots in winter. We made a round trip to the left and back down a rutted and muddy track coming out at the church of St Mary & St Peter which has an amazing Yew tree in it.

Free to walk up close. Great landscape

He's not much for conversation but he has a lovely home with fantastic views. Just be mindful of the sheep and horse poo.
