Lovely clean rooms, but next to High Street so can be a bit noisy if you're in a room on the front of the building.nNo breakfast but a fantastic cafe across the road which more than compensates...nGreat as a place to stay if you're touring Yorkshire Dales or visiting York.

I didn't stay here but I did have the pleasure of having a drink in the old school bar.. the service was fantastic. However, if you're after a modern vibe, it's probably best to avoid. There's nothing wrong with it, but it's a classic

Great value hotel, excellent location and very friendly staff. Plenty of parking behind the hotel and conveniently placed for many shops. The rooms are well equipped and the beds are extremely comfortable. Rooms are very quiet too. We shall certainly return.

Excellent hotel, well located, plenty of parking and friendly staff. The rooms were very comfortable and warm on a very cold night. Our triple room was reasonably priced and the bathroom was well stocked. We will definitely return.

Large bedrooms very comfy beds. Decorated to suit the style of hotel. Personally we loved the rooms. Would definitely recommend.
