Great restaurant above the shops in the centre of town. Style is somewhat bohemian with local art on display. Good variety of homemade foods and local fish specialties. Service is friendly. Closes at 9pm

Friendly service but the meal was awful. Scallops with cauliflower purée and skin on fries. The purée was watery and had no flavour. Scallops poorly cooked, very flabby and poor quality. White wine was served quite warm. I wouldn’t go back.
A fantastic place to stop after a nice walk along the beach.

Yum absolutely fabulous loft breakfasts, the full and not so full. The best toast and butter outside home . A really must to visit. +++++ staff so helpful and friendly +++++
The breakfast we had at The Loft was easily the best we have ever had in Sidmouth ,food was piping hot as was the plate, and full of flavour.. The staff were excellent very welcoming. Our first visit one of many I hope.
