Absolutely excellent service. Sold me the part I needed on a Saturday morning over the Easter bank holiday weekend. As I fitted it I damaged it and he stayed open late so I could return it, then fixed it himself. He wasn't even going to charge me !! I live about 20 miles away but for service like this I will be coming back ..

I'd like to say what a pleasure it is to deal with this particular Locksmith's; I've always thought locksmiths to be an intimidating bunch but this shops different. It's a small family run business which always make me feel welcome. I have dealt with the owner/co-owners of this shop for many years as I work in an industry which needs keys cut on a regular basis; they have been polite and helpful from the beginning and I hope to pass more business their way. Dimitar Lefterov - I wanted to respond to your comment as I find the review hard to believe. They wouldn't just take your money and would always accept a key back if it was cut wrong. Luckily I have never found fault with my keys cut here, but mistakes can happen. Your comment about the key cover insinuates you brought the key cover yourself? Which I'm guessing had a blank key for them to cut? If this was not originally purchased from The Lock Shop they would hold no responsibility for guaranteeing that you purchased the right make/model of key; therefore I believe they are unable to guarantee the key then works once it gets cut. The Lock Shop can obtain any type of key you wish for. I should know I've given them some odd ones! In my opinion - if you're looking for a decent local locksmith who is polite, friendly and a fair price - go in and give them a go! Michelle - Letting Agent

This is the worst key- cut shop, absolutely not polite and useless.Taking your money and not doing a proper job and not correct at all,only find excuses when they can't do the job or when they make a mistake.They cut a key for me which doesn't work and when I asked them to give my money back,they refuse with the excuse "we done our job" , so I paid them for nothing.Also they told me that the key is not working because the plastic cover of the key is a different colour from the original one. How stupid you have to be to believe that . Never ever will use their services again.
