I recommend this cafe to anyone who wants traditional English food in a relaxed and cosy setting.  The menu is full of all my old favourites.... and its getting hard to find cafes that still sell this type of stuff. A real treat and reasonable prices in a glorious waterside setting.

Great spot to sit, relax and enjoy the view after a long canalside walk.

Quirky non chain cafe, not many seats outside but if you can get a peg great for watching the boats on the canal.

Nice place  to eat and service.

Lovely little tea rooms. Always impressed with the food and the service is first rate. Great family vibe but can get very full very quickly on hot days holidays etc due to its cosy nature. Lots of curios and knock knacks on sale too. Awesome ice cream too!

Days when the water level rises

Nice cozy tea room with canal themed interior... Good variety of tea's, drink's, meal's and snack's, enjoyed the corned beef and onion toastie, will definitely recommend and return, handy for walk's along river and canal...

Good, old fashioned 'tea room'  Warm inside, just the place to stop off on a cold or wet day.  Nice tea !  Will return.
