These are not cupcakes, they are fairy cakes. They are sent via UKMail, a courier who doesn't specialise in delivery of perishables. They arrived late, stale and squashed. £27.50 for 9 "cupcakes" that aren't actually cupcakes is ridiculous. They taste like the cakes you find at a Jumble Sale - which are fine when you're paying 50p for them. When I called to find out where they were after I found out they had been delayed, with no reason given, the man on the phone I assume was Graham was very obstructive and rude. I asked him multiple times to send fresh replacements as a solution to the problem the cupcakes I received were baked on a Thursday morning and delivered to me on a Tuesday night - so they were at least 5 days old but he made this simple request very difficult. It seemed that they were more interested in what suits them, rather than providing good customer service. Avoid! There are plenty of great local cupcake bakers who will be able to provide competitive prices and a great service. The Little Cupcake Company is a disappointment from start-to-finish. You have been warned!
I ordered 16 cupcakes for my daughters 16th birthday. Having paid over £8 for delivery I was disappointed when the courier delivered them on their side but not half as disappointed as when I opened the box!. I had asked for the cakes tone topped with 'Happy 16th Birthday' - only one of the cakes had the topper on. The others were topped with very basic 'sprinkles' with no imagination put into decoration at all. The cakes are described as 'cupcakes' but are of the fairy cake size. The word 'cupcake' suggests something much more substantial and professional than The Little Cupcake Company provide. Just to satisfy myself that I wasn't overreacting I popped into a well known cafe near St Pauls Cathedral on Sunday where they serve and supply gorgeous cupcakes - I could have got the same amount for £10 less and their appearance was of a much higher standard and were actual cupcakes rather than fairy cakes. I did complain to The Little Cupcake Company but typically haven't heard anything back - same as all big companies sadly. Once they have your money they're not interested. On the whole I would avoid this company at all costs. I was thoroughly embarrassed at serving the cakes they had provided at my daughters party.
Ordered like 50 cupcakes for my daughter's birthday party. A lot of kids and all of them wanted only cupcakes - the birthday cake stayed untouched. The kids were like cupcake zombies. However they loved them. They look good and also taste good.
Wonderful experience ordering from Graham at The Little Cupcake Company. 200 beautiful cupcakes made to a excellent standard even though it was a very last minute request! Would highly recommend.
Ordered a box of cupcakes to surprise my friends, and its safe to say we were not disappointed! They were absolutely delicious and so soft - diet starts tomorrow!!
A total disappointment - cakes were ordered on the 19 Feb to be livered on 28 Feb for a birthday surprise and nothing arrived - so no early monring birthday surprise was possible. it spoilt a day that i thought was well planned. will never take the risk to order form this company again - thank goodnes i had not put through an order for mother's day.
Just had a beaut cupcake brought into the office from The Little Cupcake Company! Cake was soft and the icing was to die for! Have my eyes on the rest of the box as one just isn't enough. Perfect mid morning treat!!!!
Ordered the cupcakes for an office surprise and everyone delighted, they looked and tasted great! I will definitely order from these guys again!
