Wonderful lunch. Beautifully presented and veggie friendly. It’s so nice to see vegetarian/vegan options that are unique and creative.  This is our third visit and we will definitely be back!

We took friends for Sunday lunch at the newly reopened Little Angel and the whole table was left feeling confused and disappointed by the food that arrived.  £25 for a roast lunch was a little steep but we were happy to pay this given that prices have gone up generally and we were expecting excellent quality. What arrived couldn’t fairly be described as a roast lunch photo included. It was accompanied by a slab of cauliflower with melted cheese on top plus a very small selection of vegetables. Wine list was good and not badly priced, our Shiraz was very nice. However we decided not to stay for dessert and left feeling hungry. Which is surprising when we spent in excess of £170 for 4 people to eat one course of food. Wouldn’t recommend for Sunday lunch which is a shame as we were really excited about this in being reopened.

Had my birthday celebrations here last night and Matt & the team were amazing! So accommodating, friendly and went the extra mile to make it a hugely successful evening enjoyed by all. We went and had a roast today and it was delicious! Will definitely be back, thank you LA team for everything

Divine food, cozy pub. Burgers and vegetarian pie had unexpected very complex flavours!

What a fantastic pub. We ate here on a Saturday night and the food was fantastic. The new owner is brilliant to chat to and the chef is a star in the making. If you travel to Henley and need a place to eat then I can't recommend this place highly enough.

Second visit and unfortunately the last… Having been twice since the new management opened it in November, the service is terrible.  It took over 1 hour 30 minutes for our food to arrive yesterday despite the restaurant not even being fully booked. They even added service charge and 3 additional dishes to the bill which were removed when we brought it to their attention.  Such a shame as the food is good. Another local fail….

Nice table and helpful waitress. Poor choice on rather expensive menu. My slow cooked lamb very fatty, although others who had the same found it less so. Sparse vegetables. Suspect the hamburger, taken by only one of our group, caused them to be fairly nauseous later. Noticeable kitchen smells on departure. Unlikely to return.

Lovely lunch, starters a bit strange more like light bites as advertised.  Menu not very extensive and when we asked about evening menu told the same as lunch menu which was a bit disappointing.  But the food we did have was excellent.  Perhaps you could add some more starters eg pate, calamari

Incredible food, service and atmosphere. Had the best fish and chips ever, definitely far over and above your normal pub food. We sat in the conservatory which had such a lovely vibe.
