Went to listen to a band in the back room. Good service and the beer wasn't at all bad, even if the selection wasn't huge. Pleasant decor. Close to Dorking Station isn't the most scenic area but is convenient for those travelling. Walkability: Very close to Dorking Main station
Pubs been renovated I believe and staff are friendly, drinks are cheap and it's comfortable, good place.
Pleasantly surprised with this bar as it's the first time I've been there. I didn't like the look of it and the fact it was a hotel when checking out pubs to stop off for a couple on route to the Dorking Halls. Nice beer, friendly staff and a pleasant large garden. I'll be stopping for a couple there again for sure but wouldn't travel there specifically or stay for more than 2 or 3.
Best pub near the Dorking Train stations. Conventional looking on the outside, interesting and spacious on the inside.
Friendly staff. Fab pool table. They welcome dogs. Pub food that suits to go with beer so loads of chips and that sort of thing. But very reasonably priced, came quickly and was hot. Can't ask more than that. Fab for a relaxed night out

Not the most welcoming of places. Felt like an outsider as soon as I stepped in!! Lighting is a bit strange with some areas bright, and other parts in dark or strange lighting. Music was also a little on the loud side. Good prices tho. And would definitely stop in again, as it's very close to the station! Decent enough place to wait for a bus :
Highly recommend. Staff very friendly and the locals keep the conversation flowing which is makes me feel very welcomed. Newly refurbished, very impressed would come back for another Neck oil pint :Rooms: 5/5
