Great entertainment venue. I was there doing photography for a dance event that was being held there. The staff are great and very helpful. Very nice cafe onside too. You have to try their cakes.
At first I didn’t know how to book my ticket or pick a seat but the reps at the desk were super helpful. And there were follow up mails to keep me informed. It was so beautiful. The sound, light and surroundings. And the seats were comfortable aswell. Access for wheelchair as well as parking.
Good music venue with a good selection of performances & free parking a short walk away. Some are in the bar & some are seated in the auditorium. The auditorium seating is quite steep, which is great because your view of the stage is not obstructed by those in front of you. Acts tend to start early in the evening so the finish isn't too late.
On arrival it was unclear how we showed our 3-tickets,but on asking the lady managing the door it was clear all she wanted was evidence you had a ticket, so all was good. We attended a folk evening, on entry it appeared a good deal of the seating was already taken by those singing in the choir and various groups. My wife managed to carry a small table and we got some seats from a stack dropped by the staff. The music was mixed and the choir was excellent as was the last stage act being English folk. All acts were entertaining and a good evening was had. The bar was unervingly expensive, 1 lager and a can of coke being £8.20. Organisation was highly piggldy, but it was a good evening. Parking was free after 16:00 in the leisure centre car park, but as was expected it was near full.
Very pleasant venue. Cafe and bar available to all. Seating in the auditorium is farely comfortable. Limited leg room in the front row of the stalls.
Went here for my granddaughters school show and had a fantastic evening
Good local facilitie, Don't expect hot drinks in the evening as staff will rudely inform you they don't do coffee only alcohol in the evening.
Great place, friendly staff. Some good concerts coming up at a reasonable price. I was sat in seat K3 and the picture shows a good view.
Saw a great show about the krays. Lots of space in the foyer, with a bar. Helpful staff
Great entertainment venue with some amazing acts to see. We saw the Cavern Beatles and they were fantastic. The lights is a great place to visit, kept very clean with good facilities and with a lovely bar for some pre-show drinks and of course interval as well. Come and see a show here, I am sure you will not be disappointed, we loved it.
