I have been using lemon tree for a few years, it has never been the best but certainly good tasting food. After seeing the 1 star food hygiene rating il never use them again. Usually our order is around £60 and it’s once a week, will definitely be looking elsewhere from now on.

For a vegetarian family the food was probably the best we have had in a long time.  They looked after us and respected that we were vegetarian.  Food came to the table hot and additional orders came quickly.  From a taste perspective.  Excellent.

After seeing their reviews of one star cleanliness I won’t be going back they could have caused me a serious illness because of my condition and that’s not good at all I have to be so careful of cleanliness due to my condition it was a serious situation where they could have actually killed me no joke at all in my message the Bactria would kill me for certain ulcerative colitis and bacteria not good at all for me

Order food at half 5 still sat here Waiting at 7:45 to find out they closed at 7pm. No word of warning just didn’t bother to deliver food or even let us know. Won’t to trying this place again absolutely fumming. I want a full refund.

While visiting my parents for the long weekend we ordered a takeaway from The Lemon Tree this evening.  I ordered via the restaurant website and the system was clear and easy to use, although there was a minor snag inputting the delivery address but it is an awkward address and they did find us. It also gave an estimated delivery time that was accurate to within 5 minutes. I was particularly impressed that restaurant itself offered delivery to my parents as it's about a 20 minute drive from the restaurant, especially as delivery is a rarity to my parents address because they live in a small village.  Unfortunately I was underwhelmed with the chicken korma I ordered as the sauce was a bit runny. I did try a small bit of the bhuna and dansak that were also in the order and they seemed a better standard.  My parents are return customers and happy with their dishes so perhaps the quality of my korma was the exception. I suspect I'll end up eating takeaway from them again and hope that my next review will be more positive.

1 star, just like the hygiene rating. Do yourself a favour and research this place before you visit. Shame as the food is ok, but they are clearly not keeping in top of thingsFood: 1/5

We visited here for the first time a few weekends ago. I couldn't fault the services or the food! There were four of us and we all had a different curry I had the garlic special which was absolutely divine!, popadoms and a selection of naan breads.  We will be visiting again when we are next in Poulton, thank you so much!

We have used the Lemon Tree since lockdown 2020. We have been customers in the restaurant and ordered takeaway. Since they have returned to normal they no longer want to deliver to us anymore even though we have offered to pay the delivery fee. We are literally two roads away. On the website they stipulate they deliver to PR4. This is poor business. You should look after the ones that kept your afloat in bad times instead of casting us aside. We will be going elsewhere from now on.

Visited last night with some workmates. A thoroughly great experience. Head waiters suggestions were great. Food and service was second to none. I will be returning soon with my family. Thanks , great job guys.

Everytime i go here i fall in with with their currys. The food is amazing always hot and well packaged. Customer service is excellent even from the kitchen staff. Always making me feel comfortable.
