After waiting over half an hour for food, the rude man at the counter told me I shouldn't expect me to get food any time soon because he was busy. Horrible human being in a previously okay cafe.
Excellent crocodile on toast and snappy service.
Popped in while visiting friends and the food was great, all very fresh and it's dog friendly. The lemon slice is amazing, however they make the icing it's perfect. Relaxing, not rushed place
It was our first visit but hopefully not our last. The ambiance was so lovely and the staff were really helpful. The menu was like a breath of fresh air. A great selection of drinks hot and cold. We also had tea cakes which were delicious. Next time we will try the cakes.
Lovely tea and breakfast. The full English is fab as we're the poached eggs. Friendly staff and prompt service. It was also nice to recount when it was featured in The Detectorists.
My first visit, but I really liked this place. It's got a comfortable, relaxed atmosphere that's also dog friendly. The choice of food and drinks coffee, tea, soft drinks and wine and beer is good. And a friendly service.
Dog friendly a bonus. Slow service, no apology or attempt to appease us. Staff clearly rushed. I only had toast. Not worth waiting 35 minutes for. Just offer a complimentary coffee/tea and an apology. Customers react better when you own up to the issue of a delay. Disappointing.
