Visited here with my mother on a weekend, place used to be great with amazing food and lunch menu. Waited over 20 minutes for food to come out and you could count the amount of people. Food was very disappointing a salad with chunks of chicken little cheese and nothing else only rocket leaves.
Always a great spot for a bite to eat, a few pints and whatever sport is on, the recently built outdoor area is great too,Food: 5/5
Very friendly, great food, lovely service. What more could you want from a local pub.Food: 5/5
Went for family birthday Saturday evening. Fairly packed. Had a table reserved which is advisable as it is a very popular locals spot. Food is good but menu does not offer a whole lot of choice. Service was quick and friendly. Will return.
Food was nice. Portion was quite small for a Sunday Roast though. Floor staff were very friendly. The person greeting our party at the door was abrupt.
We loved our visit here. The place is really lovely with loads of different seating sections to choose from. Each section has its own style of decor too. The food is top-notch. Really generous portions. You certainly won't be hungry after eating here! I had the starter size of nachos and they were so tasty. I will definitely be heading back to get these again. Other reviews have mentioned slow service etc but that was certainly not our experience. The food and drinks were brought out really quickly. All the staff that we encountered gave us a cheerful greeting and were very friendly and helpful.
We waited an hour for main courses and were told that was normal during busy hours. Food was average at best. Kids goujouns were southern fried so couldn't eat them with all the pepper in the crumbs. Overall disappointed
Food is dirt. Ribs were cold and soggy with barely any flavour and the wings must have come from a quail. Oriental stir fry was dreadful, was just noodles in corriander and hot water with lumps of chicken and brocolli. Sent back almost two full plates of food and got charged full price regardless.
Was there for dinner today with family and friends, we had just finished dinner and were having drinks. when we were approached by one of the staff and asked if we could leave the tables as we were there over 2 and half hours. I told her that we were still having drinks and ask if she had another table to put us on and she said no and that she had other people waiting for dinner and wanted the tables. Really rude and disrespectful we ended up leaving when we finished our drinks and would never go back near the place again
Had a lovely meal and a pint recently in this pub. Great service in a convivial atmosphereFood: 5/5
