We’d booked rooms to break up our long journey, tho a puncture delayed our arrival. We phoned ahead to enquire what time the restaurant was open till. Our ETA was just after the restaurant stopped serving, but the staff were very helpful and said if we let them know what we wanted then it would be ready when we arrived. Great,friendly service,tasty food and comfy rooms. Really nice breakfast too. Would definitely stay again

Great country feeling pub serving delicious food. The parsnip soup and chicken goujons from the starter menu were delicious. The chicken burger was fantastic, great value for money, and the double-dipped chips were perfectly seasoned! Lots of craft ales to try too!

Great beer, really nice staff. Bar food can be hit and miss but restaurant is always top notch. Regular live music, quiz nights and food offers - well worth a look in
