This restaurant was recommended to us by a local. The staff here were super friendly. There is lots of outdoor seating, but there will be a lot of pedestrians walking by. The food came out quickly, and it was so much! Everything was cooked phenomenally and the portion sizes were large, as I already said. One bread order is a lot already. The chicken bits were absolutely delicious. We could hardly finish our food! But overall, this restaurant was a delightful experience and I highly recommend it. Thanks!
A restaurant extremely genuine, from the service to the place itself. Fantastic great value meal in the heart of Athens Really friendly staff and great food. The portions were HUGE. We could've easily shared one meal with the two of us. When I finished my chicken, I felt like there was still one portion left. Great value for your money, very cheap! Service was great, really friendly and all spoke English. Lots of locals were there too, it seemed like a beloved place for them to relax and eat.
Fantastic meal! It was the busiest restaurant on the street and there is a good reason for it! Service was friendly and so fast - and the portions are absolutely HUGE. One plate is enough for two reasonable eaters for sure. Our friends are joining us today in Athens and I think we have to go back for more - the menu has things we have not tasted yet!
We stopped in with our Foodie Tour Guide and for good reason. The food, service and location were great. The salad, tzatkiki, olives, mixed grill, pork dishes and everything was great! Got a lesson in how to drink Ouzo, have a new respect for Ouzo now. The staff was friendly and helpful. Place was clean. Had some people watching too, juggler for entertainment and beggars passing by. Great time and highly recommended for some authentic Greek food. Try it, you will like it!
Really good value for the food, highly recommend. We were recommended this place by our hotel. We got the milk veal and grilled beef liver along with grilled saganaki and horta, all very good. Cannot believe a large veal steak with fries was just €15. Would come back here again next time we're in Athens.
The location of the restaurant is very good. After our Acropolis trip, we had dinner there. The main courses and salad were delicious. Service was fast. Thank you!
Ate here as a tip from a local - great value meal. Wanted moussaka and they didn’t have, so they recommended something similar and it was the highlight of the whole meal. We had almost the whole menu with a group of 9 of us - but don’t overlook the casseroles! Delicious!!
Fantastic family run restaurant. I am sure the other reviews say it all, but I can't repeat it enough. The food here is GOOD! They specialise in meat dishes. Note that portions are huge, prices are reasonable. If I could come every week I would.
I don’t know how traditional it is, but the food was just amazing! : Huge portions awesome flavors. Spice cheese spread and also pork skewer is five star. Wine was a bit plain but everything else is great!
No clue how this place is rated 4.6. Inedible and absolutely not recommended: - Slow and lousy service forgot about drinks for a whole table of 6 people - When the wine arrived, it was very bad bland and tasted with alcohol - French fries were wet and not crispy at all - Pork souvlaki was the worst I had in Greece over the course of 2 weeks and I had them every single day - dry and caused some serious stomach issues No matter how hard I try, there is not a single thing I liked about our visit - every dish was not done properly and it took us from very high expectations to a very bad experience.
