Staff are very friendly, assisted with enquiries professionally.
Went for steak knives, but waiting a delivery. Staff were very pleasant & helpful , even bought some reduced tin baubles that can open so you can place treets inside as stocking fillers for Xmas 2024.
I ordered a decanter online through The Kitchen Shop, and I couldn’t be happier! The parcel came incredibly fast and most importantly was packed so well that I had no concerns about it breaking. I’m especially impressed because it went from the UK to Canada. It’s clear they take pride in their shop, they far exceeded my expectations, I would gladly order from them again.
A thoroughly efficient, flexible, welcoming, friendly and well priced shop. Its stock is "Just what is wanted" ..... very obliging staff, always willing to order stock if necessary and Lichfield just CANNOT be without it. I do recommends friends to visit, especially as prices are extremely competitive!!
Firstly this is the first review i have ever left, let alone it to be a negative one but i felt that disappointed in the service provided by the staff, i felt the need. I have used this shop many times as its a local shop and i like to support local even though it is slightly more expensive, however, for the first time to say that i was disappointed is an understatement with the service by three members of staff including the owner i ended up purchasing online for £50 cheaper. only one member really wanted to help me, to say that the others had a don't care attitude was an understatement which is why i spent my money some where else.
Excellent customer service!! Every member of staff I communicated with on messenger or phone was super helpful. The staff helped me source a book for a friend. I was delighted with the service I received and would recommend to anyone!
A great local, independent shop, full of all kinds of kitchenware, from larger items to small kitchen gadgets. A little more expensive than the internet yes - but in return you get lots of advice and specialist knowledge before you make your purchase. During Lockdown Two as per November 2020 they are providing an excellent click and collect service too. Would not go anywhere else for my kitchen goods - a perfect example of Shop Local.
Such a lovely clean shop.. lots to see and fabulous quality .. we were spoken to by assistant called Dillon who could tell me everything I needed to know , such a lovely change to be greeted with a smile what a credit he is to the kitchen shop
A lovely shop that sells a great variety of utensils for the kitchen. We were looking for something particular and they had a good choice. Pleasant, professional, but unobtrusive service.
Loathe as I am to write a negative review on a shop I use a lot, I feel obliged to do so on this occasion. I purchased an item from the store the other day, and was told categorically that it was reduced - from £60 to £40. Obviously a good deal then. You would think so anyway. On arriving home and using the item, I was quite pleased with it. As I had been told it was the last one in the shop, and I wanted to buy another as a present, I went onto Google. The item I bought would have cost me £40 in John Lewis, £39.99 in Lakeland and even less than that at Amazon. And, I hasten to add, at none of these stores was the item in the sale, nor had it been discounted. So, in other words I paid full price for something that supposedly had a £20 discount, when in fact I may as well have purchased it at full price at Lakeland or John Lewis. I rang the shop and was told that that was due to their supplier's pricing. Highly unlikely but that was the answer I got. Wanting to confirm this, I rang Cuisinart and was told that the item was £40 RRP. So, this begs the question, how many other items have I purchased in the past from this shop and paid nearly 50% over the RRP? I like to patronise smaller individual shops as I am not a fan of High Street shops owned by corporations. I also understand that smaller shops cannot always offer the same discounts as the bigger stores, but I could not find one shop selling the same item at £60. So either the item was NOT really being offered at a genuine discount, or the mark up is horrendous. Either way it leaves much food for thought.
