Amazing food, the staff were really attentive and friendly. We were sat upstairs and didn't notice how busy the place had got because we were so well looked after. The peshwari naan is delicious it's unlike any I've had before, I'm not sure if anything will now live up to it.
We discovered Corner Cafe two years ago and it's one of our two favourite places to go for Indian food in Leeds.
Fantastic Indian run by genuinely lovely people. The sauce was what impressed me most
The best Indian food I ever had
Picked up a great takeaway from here recently. Genuinely friendly service, delicious food and all at a great price. Will definitely be coming back for a sit-in meal when the world opens up again, this is a local spot worth supporting!
I love this place. Have been going on and off for over thirty years and it never disappoints. The food is always delicious, the staff are always cheery and helpful and the service is always great. It's well worth the trip away from the city centre to get a great meal. You won't be disappointed.
Simply the best curry in Leeds. Have been going since I was a student 25+ years Never had a bad meal. Amazing attentive friendly service, early bird menu worth checking out!
Not a fancy restaurant by any means. However, don't come for the decor, come for the food. Which was just superb. Super fresh ingredients which really made the dishes shine. Some people just want a load of grease and meat, but if you're after super flavours and not super levels of fat and salt, this is your place. We ordered 5 dishes to share which were all excellent. Even the simple brown rice side dish had hints of cinnamon cloves and cumin. And the naan bread was crisp outside, light and fluffy inside. The drinks too were great, with a top selection of local craft beers. Not the obligatory Carling and Cobra rubbish. Finally the staff were genuinely nice and attentive. Cheers to Corner Café.
Very homely, food distinctly with a 'home made' feel. Excellent service and warm friendly atmosphere. Will return. I did return, and still excellent. Great variety of local craft bottled beers, huge menu choice, and still friendly, warm and homely. I thought the Affogato on the dessert menu was genius. I will return.
Homely atmosphere. Lots of my friends are great fans, but I just feel that the curries weren't very complex spice-wise. It's certainly not bad at all, just that I was expecting a lot better given its reputation.
