The evening started out well. But I brushed by the drage queen and trying to get attention from the bar staff. I was classed as drunk!! Would not save me or my friends!! I was not drunk!! I was just trying to get a drink for my friends. The manager was very aggressive!!! Would not hear our side off the story!! Throwing all 3 off us out. We don't put up a fight. But later we went back to ask? We got a lot of abuse from a bluned man. May be a manager. We well phone in the day and arrange a interview!! We are all very confused. Are we not allowed to dance!! Or have fun. The dragon queen was very aggressive towards Trevor even before we went in on the street!! And when I when to finish my drink it had been removed!!
Was visiting Cardiff for a couple days and had a fab time here both nights. Staff were super friendly and helpful, was a great vibe for sure. Definitely planning a visit back sometime in the future
Came here last week for karaoke and it was full to the brim to the point where I felt really claustrophobic. An absolute hot spot to catch covid like I did. Too many drunk people around and its really unpleasant.
Had this bar recommended to me for a karaoke night out in Cardiff via the glory that is Reddit and not gonna lie I was apprehensive about going to a bar not only in a strange city but a strange to me at least - gimme a break it'd been nearly 34 years since I'd been to Wales country on my own... I could not have been made to feel more welcome, or had a more captive audience while I absolutely murderised Madonna and Sam Ryder on the mic. Big love to the bar staff, the DJ on that night and Jolene for saying "of course you can you sexy b****" when I asked if I could use the microphone stand.
Very small but Thursday night karaokes are an absolute blast! God bless the LGBT community
Myself and my frend. Came this pub so went in as it was my 60th birthday 3 weeks ago. And I had a fab night everyone was Friendly. Had drinks bought for me. They. Made us welcome. What a night all I can say if wow fab x
I lost my phone and bag in the Kings on a night out, never thought I would see them again. Went to try and find it in the morning and obviously it was closed and I was distraught trying to see if I could see it in the smoking area like a maniac. Manager must have seen me from across the road and came over probably to make sure I wasn’t trying to break in, but he let me in and found my stuff. Someone had handed it in at the bar to my utter shock. There aren’t many places that would happen these day, so I think this speaks for itself. Fab venue with friendly and honest staff and customers. Security were also really nice, particularly the older lady on the door, she tried to comfort me when I lost my stuff.
Every other weekend here! Had some of the best times here!!
Came here a few nights in a row before heading to they're sister club pulse great place great atmosphere I can guarantee you will have a good night here with friendly door and bar staff you will feel at ease I will miss this place and a huge thank you to the gorgeous Nicole for everything you will be what we miss most about cardiff
7th August. I have 4 bars in Tenerife and one of the staff with blond hair was very impatient and I checked with previous review regarding. Man who is partial blind and he was refused in !! And this is me John Bown ... he was very rude and I felt unwelcome as a deaf person ... treat customers in high standard is the best way to keep the business and in my opinion I would invite him in my office and show the door .... this is not the way I cannot afford staff lose customers ...
