Had a really nice lunch at the King’s Head Today. All home cooked and great for vegetarian options. Value for money. A friendly welcome and spotlessly clean. Will definitely be back when I’m in the area
A really welcoming environment. Had a lovely meal, home cooked food especially home cooked chips were delicious as was the scampi. The staff were all friendly & attentive & will be back again for sure. Wish you all well.
In Atherstone this is a great spot for a relaxed team lunch. There’s plenty of parking, which makes it super convenient, especially when you’re coming with a group. We stopped by with our office team for a quick lunch and it worked perfectly. The food was good, portions were decent, and everything came out without a long wait. Solid choice when you want something easy, tasty, and hassle-free.
Lovely food, great service. A little dark where we sat and was pretty quiet but it was 5pm on a weekday. Needs a little bit of updating on the booths seating, but the place looks nice and the staff were friendly. Will come back in nicer weather to sit outside near the canal. The food though was a 10 out of 10. Beautiful cant fault it
Had a lovely meal with my partner in your establishment last night, 6.30pm booking, the lovely young lady behind the bar blonde hair in a long ponytail was absolutely lovely, very pleasant and polite. We have eaten here before, Paul had the pie of the day meal and I had the gammon. It was all really lovely, hot and very presentable. We will return and the young lady, as previously mentioned, is a credit to the pub. 2 young lads at the bar at the time very polite and we thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Well done everyone and thank you.
