Love the ambience and the staff are very friendly. The food was fantastic. I worked here many years ago and I remember the head chef and owner Sarah was always passionate about her food and the ingredients were locally sourced. I’m glad that the passion has not been lost, as I said the food was superb. I would highly recommend this pub and do. Great wine list! Whenever I eat here I always walk out with a little dopamine rush which leaves me feeling very happy for a day or two. I think I need to return to get my Kings Arms fix!
A delightful local pub with rooms. Service good ... pizzas are the size of blue whales and very tasty indeed. Clean and cute. Nothing else really in C.H. but the village is a delight to look at ... historic...Service: 5/5

Great accommodation for the fit and for the disabled. Great food and a really friendly, helpful and happy staff team. A true example to the accommodation industry. Keep up the wonderful work!
Staff very nice but meals patchy. Fried halloumi comes highly recommended whereas vegetarian autumn pilaff dish does not. Greasy and just piled up on the plate. The side thyme potatoes were undercooked. Chocolate fondant excellent whereas roasted clementines average. Wine with the meal was very good as was the hake the other diners had as a main course. One of the desserts was on the house as compensation for the vegetarian so that was a small, appreciated gesture of goodwill.
We were passing through, starving hungry so stopped for pub grub. But this was far superior to any pub food, it was amazing! The Lebanese salad was full of flavour, beautifully presented and a very generous portion. And the stone baked pizza was so rich in flavour and perfectly cooked! Delicious. We had a nice meal here but unfortunately it didn’t blow us away, for the price we expected more. My steak was undercooked very rare and very fatty and chewy. The service was almost a little too good as we were asked for drinks before we sat down and had a chance to look at the menu.
What an amazing place to stay The room we had was spacious and clean the food was lovely and we have absolutely decided that when we go to see my daughter living in Yeovil we will stay here. It was reasonably priced and breakfast was lovely I really enjoyed the fresh fruit The decor is lovely and the owner and staff very helpful and friendly
Lovely hotel and great service Food was great................the flat iron steak was fantastic! Rooms where nicely decorated, furnished well and comfortable my only comments would be you can hear the toilets and showers in the other rooms, the rooms are very warm and if you leave the window open the passing traffic at speed is noisy. Granted a large air con unit was available in the room but this had to be vented through the window. The rooms lacked in quality and attention to detail for a five star rating and the price was high.
