Wouldn't go back. Don't be deceived by the photos. Chicken & Mushroom pie, pastry like a brick, only 2 tiny chicken pieces no mushrooms, chips best thing,gravy thick. Steak pie, pastry hard hardly any steak inside. Very disappointing. Drinks Glass of pinot that was fine but 1st pint of larger sent back flat & tasted vile

We came in for my friends 21st birthday today! Absolutely amazing service and the staff went above and beyond to make our time here special! Big shout out to Dan who is such an amazing and lovely man he looked after us all day. I highly recommend visiting here for food and drinks we will definitely be returning.
I returned to the Kings Arms yesterday for lunch and a catch up with a friend. We keep on returning because the menu has such a diversity of options and its reasonably priced. I had the 3 small plates of Beef Bao Buns, Tacos and Chicken Sliders, accompanied by sweet potato fries. My friend had the Steak and Ale Pie and vegetables. The food was timely and tasty and the service was very good. Olly was very personable and responsive to our requests and did all he could to meet our needs. We will continue to return. Having had the freshly baked pizzas previously from the Pizza station, I'd also recommend them. The atmosphere was relaxed and cozy despite the establishment experiencing some heating issues, this didn't detract from our visit. We appear to live in an age where some people just live and love to complain and be outraged by the most minute of things. Finding a negative is much easier than praising a positive, a byproduct of the human species negativity bias I presume. Thanks Olly, we will be back soon :
Came here for our evening meal, the atmosphere was good. No problem getting a table, food was lovely and came in a reasonable time after ordering . Lovely experience. Will come again
The Kings Arms has been part of the Billingham community for almost 100 years. I have worked as an ex pat for many years but the Kings Arms is always my first port of call when I return to the Uk. The atmosphere is very friendly and the staff are very friendly and courteous and always greet you with a smile. The smell when the pizza ovens are in use is amazing and the standard of the pizzas are exceptional and very tasty. I will continue to make the Kings my pub of choice for many years to come.
Not great... Gets worse each time we visit. Cold inside they presumably had heating issues as there were halogen heaters staged about the place. Wasn't busy but waited an age for food. Couldn't have the pizza I wanted as there were no chillies, but out natcho starter had loads of them - seems like meals are pre-apportioned. Had a burger instead, which also took ages to arrive. Chips and sides were cold on arrival, burger nothing special at all. Were offered replacement fries but having waited so long already we declined. Offered free drinks, but the beer I wanted was already off. Sorry to say we won't be going back which is a shame as its only 5 mins walk away. We have been here and had much better food before, but it's not what it was. Not a great experience. Will be going staright to Thorpe Thewles in future.
The staff are always really lovely and attentive and the food is really affordable and tasty. It’s been a bit cold inside the pub recently when we’ve gone in but they’ve had heaters on trying to combat whatever the issue is and otherwise it’s always great.
Excellent service and food was a good quality. Dog friendly which is a bonus. Dan always make sure my dog is looked after bringing treats and water. Highly recommend. Will be back Have since been back and the food is excellent especially there stone baked pizzas. Visited again and service again was excellent Another visit service wasn’t the usual standards as they were busy, but still got served with a smile. Food as always spot on
Went for tea tonight with my mother & granddaughters the food was really nice we both had the gammon & it was very thick & tasty portion sizes are good the girls had pizza which was tasty the price was reasonable will definitely go back again
