We came here with my dad and had travelled from North Wales. If i could give 10 stars I would. I had the Mongolian beef with noodles and it was honestly the nicest dish I have had in years. Dad and hubby enjoyed their meals too. The staff were friendly and attentive and the prices were very reasonable. This is definitely a place we will be visiting again.
Went tonight for their New Years Tapas event. £25 each and it was three courses of great food, each course with upto three dishes. Also they had a brilliant live singer songwriter performing throughout the night. Whoever is thinking of the events at this great local recently is doing an excellent job please keep it up. We went to the family showing of the grinch before Christmas and that was great too.
Came for lunch with my wife and had am excellent lunch as ever the food at the king Bill is top notch with unusual choices available that are always well cooked and value for money. Amongst the menu is a variety of pub standards and highly spiced food For once we both had small plates which we found to be a reasonably good size I had the Mongolian crispy beef with salt and pepper chips an explosive mixture of chilli and garlic absolutely fantastic a perfect match My wife had a sweet chilli chicken dish which she was very pleased with Due to the fiery nature of my main ice cream was needed and again of good quality The King Bill deserves recognition for its efforts and is highly recommended
Nice pub in a lovely countryside location. We had a walk in Jumbles Country Park before heading to the King William for a late Sunday lunch. They're dog friendly which is good and they happily accommodated us four people and three big dogs. The staff were nice but service was slow. It took a very long time for anyone to serve us but food also took ages. I had the roast beef which was quite nice, but unfortunately we didn't get dessert because we were worried it would just take too long. May have just been because it was a Sunday and peak time, but we were there for over 2 hours.
My FAVOURITE pub!! I love that I can go in with my dogs after a walk around the jumbles and have the most amazing pie and a pint. Or I can go for a special occasion, dress up and have a fancy treat from the wide variety of forever changing specials on the menu! Not forgetting the best Sunday lunch in the area! This pub/restaurant is a great all rounder and I can recommend it!!
Food was the best and staff were so lovely. They even did a doggy roast dinner and my little doggy loved it.
We normally eat at another local pub but couldn’t get in today. I’m so pleased we couldn’t and discovered this place. The food was amazing steak and blue cheese even though it’s not on the Sunday menu they made it for us. The place is so lovely and warm and absolutely spotlessly clean. We will be regulars here now for food. What a great find. Staff were lovely and friendly. What a great discovery for us. An absolute credit to the Staff
Nice local pub with very open layout so not clostrophobic. Selection of beers and food favourites. Good service at the bar and table food service. Some outside seating for summer month enjoyment. Easy disabled access.
Excellent pub restaurant selling some fine ales and lots of alternative drinks. The food was excellent. The staff Ed and Leah did a really good job. The interior of the restaurant is warm and very welcoming.
Fantastic restaurant and great tasty food. We had honey chilli chicken and Mongolian Beef and rice. Both were excellent. The staff Ed and Leah were brilliant and so helpful.
