Nice atmosphere good quality food. Only downside service at carvery was a little slow apart from that really enjoyed my visit
Arrived and seated promptly. Ordering was easy. We had the Carvery. Food was excellent, well presented and serving area was kept very clean. Ample meat and a great variety of Veg. All served at a high temperature. Staff were very welcoming. Would highly recommend the Venue. We did return the following week during the day and the same high standards were maintained.
The carver on the meat station was very nice and had a great way with the customers. As was the younger dark haired male at the bar and collecting plates. I had turkey and beef and both were lovely and full of flavour. The only thing on my visit that could do with some improvement was the taste of the roast potatoes as they did not seem to have much taste to them.
Gad an amazing family meal here today and I couldn't fault it which is why I keep coming back time and time again! Fantastic food and great service today from both Fallon and Regan we will definitely be back and can't wait to try some of the amazing desserts Regan recommend but we were to full up toady. Popped in today for breakfast was very impressed
Gave two stars instead of one as admittedly, the food was all thoroughly cooked and hygiene standards were good. Unfortunately, you are not getting anything above and beyond this. It reaches the bare minimum standard of what you would expect for a restaurant, but nothing more. Yes, the food was warm and cooked and everything was clean. However, the food was all clearly pre-cooked frozen food thrown in the microwave or oven to warm through as evidence by the speed in which it comes out. I ordered a ‘pulled beef’ topped burger and chips. There was the tiniest scrap of ‘pulled beef’ on top. The beef in the burgers, the cheese, the lettuce were all of the quality you’d expect in some cheap canteen. The chips were the most basic of oven chips, bland and tasteless. Staff were polite but there is very little interaction. Essentially the positives are it’s cheap and you won’t get food poisoning. If you were planning on eating out here I would save yourself the hassle and buy an oven ready meal from any supermarket for half the price and double the quality.
We as a family appreciate nice food at a wallet friendly price, staff are polite and welcoming
Great eating. Top tier carvery with a choice of alternatives for the kids, plus a little play area for u12s. Will have a smaller dinner next time so I can fit a dessert in too. Reasonable price and good service.
Fab food. Enjoyed it. Service was great too.
Stopped off for dinner whilst on a long journey, had a great experience made to feel welcome , special thanks to Peter for his great service a credit to his employer. Food was good value and although we didn't have a dessert due to time would most definitely have one if we pass by in the future.
My partner and I had a Sunday carvery. Food was hot and very tasty. We were extremely happy with the service, staff very friendly and well mannered. Will definitely recommend to our friends and will be returning soon.
