There is perhaps no better and welcoming atmosphere in the whole of St Andrews. Students, locals and tourists all made to feel welcome and valued. Claire is a diamond. The world needs more people like her. First class.
The Keys Bar is the most welcoming and friendly bar in St Andrews..a must visit anytime you come to the town for a lovely pint and atmosphere. Doggy friendly as well..great place to stop for a pint after a good walk with my collies.
Nice traditional boozer, busy but not rammed got a space at the bar and then a seat, decent prices and service what's not to like. My only confusion was why the traditional toilet trough was still in use but had urinals fitted...just to note the toilets are fresh / clean
The best bar in St St Andrews. Claire the owner is super friendly and energetic and makes everyone feel welcome. Their whiskey selection is impressive.

Huge selection of whisky & staff with very good knowledge of their range. Found them very helpful when I a newcomer to whisky asked for a recommendation based on personal taste. The whisky suggestion was phenomenal. Certainly back up the claim they're the best whisky bar in Scotland.
