Lovely food.. Good choice. Nice for couples wanting an intimate dining bistro experience or caters for groups also.. Works outing. We had a great time ! Less busy in the week. Would recommend pre booking your table. Daily specials available.
Fantastic night for capita at the junction buffet was fab thankyou to all the staff
Tried the Sunday menu. Had creamy garlic mushroom starter which was quite nice. For main had roast, was advised by the waitress the bed would be pink, it was exactly the opposite been overdone and extremely chewy. I ended up leaving most of my main and complained. We were offered free puddings but there wasn't anything that interested us. No offer of knocking anything off the bill which came to £114 for 4 adults and 2 kids. Doubt we'll be going back anytime soon.
The food was average if I were to be honest, we ate it as we had paid fairly for it and we were really hungry after the lengthy wait for food. Only one staff member was in the kitchen which would have proved even more problematic if anymore people had walked in for a table. Waiting staff were slow and most of the time stood doing nothing....you would have thought they would have helped in the kitchen!!
Wonderful food, would recommed to anyone! All the food is homemade, the cajun chicken is very good and super tender. The fries are homemade and very tasty! The restaurant has a nice dining room and lounge area for the bar. The bathrooms are very nice and clean. All around great experience!
Great home made food. We arrived mid afternoon on a weekday and were the only customers but everything was cooked fresh to order. Steak and ale pie was especially delicious!
Went to my neice birthday meal. Steak was very tough. Waitress where very pleasant.how ever I found the lady we assumed was landlady very abrupt and rude. We let some party poppers off to which she stomped around our long table where 24 of us were dining and started picking streamers up. When my sister in law let off another one she quite rudly shouted are you coming in to Hoover that up in morning.i was disgusted . On singing happy birthday a waitress approached landlady and asked if we could have a knife to cut the cake. The waitress was told to only provide us with a steak knife as all other knives belonged to chef .I heard this comment .Then we request some plates to put cake on for guest's the waitress went in to the kitchen. And returned informing us there was no plates as they were all dirty. So we were provided with napkins. The meal was brought out winny nilly. Pie and pea order came out chips followed 5 mins later .another had fish all very nice but the 3 veg were served after meal was half way through.it only appeared to be us 6 at head of table.everyone else appeared happy.meals over priced. Service with a smile off landlord a d landlady might of been nice. 're Defiantly would not return or recommend .
